Our world changed 360 degrees on the 1st of October 2025. Our baby daughter Laura was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma.
A very rare form of cancer which affects one in a million babies. We were shocked and had no idea what to do. We were admitted to St. John’s ward at CHI in Crumlin, and Laura went trough many chemotherapy sessions to reduce the size of her liver so that she can have her life saving surgery to remove the tumour. We were told this had to be done at Kings College Hospital in London.
This is where we were introduced to the Gavin Glynn Foundation. No words can express or describe how grateful our family is to them.
They stepped in and helped with the unknown and the expected. My wife hand to leave work and go on carer’s where I had to take time off and use all days available off. No one plans or expects something like this.
Thank god for these guardian angles, Gavin Glynn Foundation for thinking and supporting families like ours and many others in difficult times like these. We will never forget the support you have given us and our daughter Laura, who underwent a 7 hour Surgery and had 70 percent of her liver removed in London. She is now cancer free from current scans. Your foundation took the main stress away from us which was expenses during this difficult time.
We are forever grateful to the Gavin Glynn Foundation.
For anyone that thinks oh it’s just another charity! Think again. It’s a lifesaver. Please support them in any way possible.
